Takin’ it Back to My Pregnancy

Pregnancy is beautiful, unless you’re the pregnant one.

It took Isaac a while to get used to being a daddy, but he knew how excited I was to be a mommy. And I loved when my belly was little and protruding all cute.

It didn’t take long for my “little belly” to get bigger and bigger.

And bigger…

I felt like a whale, and I gained more than just baby weight.

But looking back now, I almost miss being pregnant to a certain extent.

I miss how close I was to Jayce all of the time. I never could miss him because I was always as close as I could get to him.

You form such an amazing bond. They say that your baby knows who their mommy is from the time they’re born. 🙂

And I’m really glad that I got photos of my pregnancy. It’s amazing looking back to see all of the beauty that is gathered in my belly.

And that beauty is J-A-Y-C-E.

So not everyone gets that pregnancy glow. Many people do get extra pounds, stretch marks, and acne.

But I can promise that I would do it all again, all over again for my little boy.
